Exercise bicycle
I’ve had this exercise bicycle for at least 5 years now. I picked it up from a Salvation Army thrift store for $25. This morning I got on it and spent five minutes on it.
It was only 5 minutes but it felt like 50 minutes! I kept my eye on the clock and wanted to be sure that I spent a minimum of five minutes on it. Boy, did my thighs, and my arms feel strained! And my knees! I had to kick my legs a few times so the joints at the knees would go “crack”.
The handles of this bicycle are not stationary. Your arms have to go back and forth like you are rowing and together with the legs pedaling, you can really get a good work out. The mileage meter does not work anymore on the bike, so I can’t say how many miles I’d ridden today. Maybe 2 miles? Haha.
Tomorrow I will aim for 10 minutes on the bike. The eventual goal is to at least spend 30 minutes on the bike every day. I would have taken a walk up and down our private road, but it is raining outside right now. ![]()
