Big Screen TV
LAS VEGAS (Reuters) - Japanese electronics maker Sharp Corp will begin selling a 108-inch LCD television later this year, executives told the Consumer Electronics Show on Sunday.Executives also said at a news conference that Sharp had developed a prototype 65-inch liquid crystal display TV that was just over 1 inch thick and weighed 23 percent less than previous models.
The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is the industry’s largest U.S. trade show.

Wow, a 108-inch LCD TV? That would be something, won’t it? We have a 40-inch projection TV that is over 10 years old but still works. The image could be sharper though.
I’ve been coveting a 52-inch LCD HDTV for the longest time, but I think I’ll save towards that 108-inch TV! I’m sure it is going to cost me a bomb, unless Sharp is able to mass produce it quickly. They should make the price of that big screen TV, now THIS would most certainly deserve the title “Big Screen”, affordable so they’ll be able to sell it like hot cakes! I’m sure there are many people who would love to own a 108-inch TV! I guess everyone would, if only they could afford it! ![]()

Ya, I can just imagine watching my favorite movie on that kind of large screen! That is almost three times the size of my 40 inch TV!
