Remedy for tea stained teeth
I’ve recently started drinking green tea regularly. Now I am worried about my teeth getting stained.
I used to think the Vietnamese had the ugliest teeth. They love to drink tea and most of the people I knew had teeth that were badly stained. I do not want my teeth to end up like theirs!
I just checked a site that had some natural remedies for stained teeth. Regarding tea, the remedy is, not to sip the beverage throughout the day but to do it in one or two sittings. I drink at least 3 cups a day, so does that mean I have to gulp my tea each time? And after drinking tea, it is recommended that I brush my teeth. Huh.
Using baking soda for brushing is also not advisable. It can scratch composite resins and porcelain veneers (which are used to make crowns and other types of tooth restorations) and stains will appear more readily on these scratches.
It looks like the best solution for getting rid of teeth stains is to go for cosmetic cleaning. I can do that. ![]()
