Last night I watched the much awaited top 12 male contestants on American Idol. I enjoyed every one of them even though it seemed like it was hard to please Simon Cowell in last night’s show.
I cannot get over the fact that Jason Yeager reminds me of Vince Chong. I don’t know if anyone else of you saw the slight resemblance to Vince Chong!

What do you think? Do you see any resemblance?
I like David Archuleta and Michael Johns’ performances last night. I like David Cook’s too!
Let’s just say I like all of them!
I look forward to the girls’ turn tonight. I’ll be watching Ramiele Malubay and Syesha Mercado closely because they both impressed me the most among the girls.

I am not sure what percentage of people who splurged during the holiday season is still trying to pay off their credit card debt. I am sure there are quite a number of people caught in a situation where they are finding it hard to pay off their credit card debt.
I think these are the people who might benefit from some kind of Credit Card Relief. Most people, if they can’t negotiate with their credit card supplier for a lower monthly payment or debt consolidation, will look for other credit card suppliers to transfer their balances and/or pursue debt consolidation.
The Credit Exchange is a good referral service if you are looking for debt consolidation and debt management. The benefit of having your debt consolidated and managed is that you will save your credit rating.
An improved financial position also means financial peace of mind.

“Another cookbook?” asked my husband, when he saw the book.
I was at Marshall’s last Sunday, and I just could not resist buying the book. It only cost $2.99 which was a real deal.
A low carb diet is the best kind of diet for someone like me who has been diagnosed with prediabetes. Every recipe in the book tells me the amount of calories, how many grams of carbohydrates, how many grams of protein, and how many grams of fat each serving has. From that, I can learn as I prepare my meals to guesstimate what and how much is good for me.
Nothing like a good cook book to help you along with your new diet!

We have been giving a lot of thought lately to remodeling our home. We would like to convert our current master bedroom to a family room, and build a sliding door on the west facing wall that would lead to a private garden/hot tub area. And to the south of the master bedroom we hope to build an extension to the house where the new master bedroom will be. I told Doug that the new master bedroom will have to be as big as the current bedroom if not bigger.
We can only proceed with the remodeling if we do a Mortgage Refinancing and use some of the equity that we have on the house.
We hope whatever remodeling we do, will add value to the house. It is after all our biggest investment!

After his first assault at a marathon last year banker Brian Jones was shocked to discover the sharp pain in his chest was not cardiovascular, but bleeding nipples.
“When I took my shirt off at the end it was white — apart from two particular parts of it,” he told Reuters in an interview after completing his second Tokyo Marathon at the weekend.
“It looked like I had been shot by a sniper. This year I bought some Vaseline. It worked, although I had nasty chafing elsewhere.”
Full story here.
This news story about the Tokyo Marathon was one of the most amusing stories I have read today.
A marathon is no walk in the park, and I expected runners to put up with leg cramps, damaged knees or ankles, and even heart attacks. I did not, however, expect sore nipples, and other parts of the bodies getting chafed as well while running the marathon.
At least one runner, Brian Jones, discovered that Vaseline works for his nipples. Wonder why he did not apply Vaseline around his underwear as well? Maybe he will do it on his next marathon.
Wonder if the women marathoners had the same problem with their nipples? I wonder if their sports bra does a better job at preventing the chafing?
