This morning was the first I’d seen this rather colorful eggplants at our local weekly produce market. They remind me a lot of the little pumpkins.
I can just see how these eggplants add color to a dish. I might buy some one day and try them in a dish … a curry dish, maybe, because little eggplants like these go well in curry dishes.

Funny looking eggplants! This is my first time seeing a “pumpkin-like” eggplants. Beautiful pictures you took here. I enjoyed the rests too!
The eggplants are in fact quite small .. you can’t really tell from the pictures unless I put some thing next to it so we can compare the sizes.
