MacFarland Ranch is a living history museum, and there are several old tractors all over the ranch, and the barn is well preserved.
I just wished I had a better wide angle lens on my bridge camera!
Chinese Temple

This temple is one of the more striking landmarks in Sibu, Malaysia. The color picture is quite striking but I chose to present here a more understated view of the temple in black and white.
Outhouse

This ‘outhouse’ is located in a Nipomo restaurant called The Cowgirl. I thought it was an interesting addition to a restaurant with a western concept.
It’s one of our favorite places for breakfast whenever we visit Nipomo. The portions on the menu are so huge that you only need to order one and two of you can share it and still have left-overs!
St. Xavier, Malacca August 2009
The view from one the doors of the old St. Xavier’s church in Malacca provided an interesting contrast between the old and the new.

If one takes the time, there are lots of interesting things to photograph along Jonker Street in Malacca. But with two kids tagging along, and who were feeling the heat, it was hard to do much. One just had to quickly snap what one thought might come out well!
