You will see a lot of them on this blog as time goes along!

At the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, there is a feature called the Rain Forest. It’s not big, but it was interesting enough. There were butterflies and birds in the place and I had a good time trying to photograph the butterflies.
This is just one of the few varieties of butterflies found in the rain forest at the academy.

A ladybug is not normally seen on a daisy, those found in my front yard, that is.
I picked up the ladybug and placed it on the daisy just so I could take a picture of it on the dewy filled daisy!

There were bees, flies, and butterflies buzzing and flitting among the flowers in my front yard today. Naturally, I just had to take snapshots of them buzzing and flitting from flower to flower.

I don’t know what it is about ladybugs – I just can’t seem to stop photographing them!
Their wings are so glossy, and I simply love the droplets of dew on their wings every time I managed to take snapshots of them with the dew still on them.
It’s a pity that there are not more varieties of the ladybugs found in my yard! I would especially love to see the blue ones! And the yellow and black ones!
