I don’t know what it is about ladybugs – I just can’t seem to stop photographing them!
Their wings are so glossy, and I simply love the droplets of dew on their wings every time I managed to take snapshots of them with the dew still on them.
It’s a pity that there are not more varieties of the ladybugs found in my yard! I would especially love to see the blue ones! And the yellow and black ones!

I love taking pictures of the morning glory in my front yard. Their colors are vibrant and they are just beautiful. So beautiful that I have tons of pictures of the flower!

I was just sitting around waiting for birds to perch on the fence near where I was sitting when the evening sun fell on some wild flowers.
With a little zooming in on my camera, I was rather surprised at how well the tiny flowers turned out!

I don’t have very steady hands so any macro shot I take can look better if I had used a tripod.
Anyway, I took several shots of the lady bugs and the one fly that I found on the plants in the garden this morning. Unfortunately there was a slight breeze blowing so, together with my unsteady hands, the macro shots are not as clear as I would have liked.

The flowers in my garden provided me with some interesting macro shots. I am learning the macro features in my new camera and these pictures were taken using the auto focus mode.
I have yet to finish reading the owner’s manual for my new camera, but for now the auto focus mode seems to do a fantastic job. I should use a tripod for these macro shots in order to produce greater clarity. One day!
