Has anyone of you received in your email box a letter that was supposed to have been written by Barack Obama?

I haven’t but I have read the letter. When I first saw and read the letter, I knew it couldn’t have been from Barack Obama. There has been no mention at all, in the main news media or the political blogs, about the existence of such a letter.

A simple Google search revealed the real author of the letter.

It appears that that letter had been written by a blogger name Umar Lee, and he claimed that it was a satire. The letter was very complimentary of Obama because of the fact that he had Muslim relatives and how if he Obama was to become President he woul deal with Muslims from a position of “familiarity and respect”.

Those are words from the real author of the letter. Not Obama’s. The original letter had the name of the real author at the bottom but I guess there are people who really wanted to believe that Obama could have written such a letter that they removed that last bit and forwarded it on to many different people, who in turn forwarded it to many more.

Anyway, the point is, there are many things being circulated on the internet - stuff that can easily be verified and authenticated if only one takes the time to do it.
